Migraine

you know what? i have been so lucky lately since my migraine did not struck my head… :D just imagine every time that i have this so called menstruation..i have to take pain reliever or else i’ll be in hell …… before.. when i use to work in a call center i always have these migraine any time or any day of the month….and it really make me sick….can’t sleep well…i’m irritated of bright lights and i want to hit my head…. no kidding…. but after a while …when i got pregnant… i feel a little bit of relief because my migraine didn’t bother me for nine months…lucky me huh! but after clare (my daughter) was born, here we go again… i have this monthly..at least it’s not almost everyday because i have rested for a while….so migraine just hit me every time i have my monthly period… i really don’t know the cause…but i supposed it’s because i worked at night, not getting enough sleep causes the problem…and now that i’m not working again…migraine is just on a monthly basis… i mean once a month…and i have to take celebrex 200mg for that. anyway i’m so lucky this month because my period is over and here i am kicking and no head ache :D my OB suggested to take pills because it lessen premenstrual syndrome, but i’m still giving it a second thought..if it’s really worth…

nothing to write about today..but this is my only chance to face this computer….so i must write something …he he he…or else it would take a decade again to be here in front of my windows xp…First things first : my mom just lost her precious necklace….a gangster looking guy snatched it from her in divisoria….oh well…she loves to go there to buy something for our little store, unfortunately she’s unlucky this afternoon. A man known as “Popoy” did it!!! I was just hoping that the barangay officer that she reported took the problem seriously. Mayor Lim i know is so serious about the campaign against these kinds of crime…..(Calling Honorable Mayor Lim of Manila…helpppp!!!).

Secondly, my cousin Dominic lost his MP4 this afternoon also, i don’t know who took it..Whoever it is…go to h*ll!

Now i have nothing to say..Moral Lesson of the story: Never take something that doesn’t belong to you …hay mahirap kc talaga ang buhay ngayon kaya kung anu-ano na lang ang ninanakaw…

Why work in a call center in Philippines

I’ve been working at home for quiet some time now (since i got pregnant), but i miss working in a call center and also missed my friendly friends. But come to think of it working in a call center is not bad though :D. I started working at night way back 2003 where there are only few call center around like Clientlogic, Sykes, eTelecare ..etc. etc. But now there are a lot of Call Center company like 24/7, IBM Daksh, Teletech, Convergys, People Support and many more, these are just a few of those too many company that’s been here in the Philippines. I started at salary of P12,000, not bad to start with and worked as a technical support. Anyway you have all the reason to work in a call center here are few:

1. If you want to work at night :D, there will be no traffic and not very hot.

2. Lot of night out with friends.

3. Big salary.

4. There will be a lot of benefits. Like health or medical card, you can have check-up galore. Some company have rice allowance, transportation and etc.

5. You’re language will improved as well as your self confidence (big time).

6. No need to wait for big boss for a few months to know if you’re hired or not. If you apply in call center you will know immediately if you are hired or not.

7. If you are coffee addict. Free coffee in the pantry.

–these are just few things for newbie to know if they are interested in working in a call center.

lately i've been studying how stock exchange works? what have i learned...nada! No i learned a lot...that i can't absorbed all the information all at once..some sort of information overload....but then i realized i have to do it slowly and surely...one quote from the greatest investor is "there is no risk if you know what you are doing"... i've heard many times that if you want to invest in stock exchange you have to face the risk? ... because the market fluctuates from time to time...so before investing your money in a company and purchase your share..you have to read or research a lot about the company you are interested in buying shares...you need also to learn to compute if your prospect company will prosper in the future..there you have to guess rationally ..huh!! :D learn the fundamental analysis ... Graham one of the greatest investor....has some sort of tactic how to invest in stock market..but then this will not guarantee that you will succeed..so the best thing to do is diversification..meaning you have to invest your money in different company and save something also for emergency purposes...

Holy week

Holy week is the commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, where people prayed and sung the “pasyon” for maybe 2 days. Lately I noticed that less and less people are celebrating this. (and that includes me). So what we usually do on holy week? We go somewhere else to have a picnic or others go to beach resort. Come to think of this, this happens only once a year that there were two consecutive days to be off from work, so we grabbed the opportunity to have a vacation and relax, but then this doesn’t mean that we forgot what the Christianity had started.

Stock market going crazy

An acquaintance of mine invested in stock market/bond and she just got disappointed!! The unit price is going down and down, and she lost almost 15 thousand. Although it was managed by a local finance institution here in the Philippines we cannot be sure of what will happen next, and as they say even the government fund is affected. Plus add the craziness in the politics that we have right now. Although the representative said that it’s recovering for two weeks now, still the growth is very slow. Hmmm…i don’t think she can wait for the investment to be high again.

By the way the rule of thumb of stock market player: If it’s low buy it, if it high sell it. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Posting blog using microsoft word 2007

Requirement: Existing blog account.(e.g. blogger, wordpress, and etc)

1. Click the office Button
2. Press New
4. Click on New Blog Post.
5. Click on Create at the lower right corner of the screen.
6. At this point you have to manage your account.
7. You can click on New on your Blog Accounts Screen.
8. And you can choose which account to add.
9. You can now type your username and password on this screen. This is the username and password you use to access your blog.
10. Next you will see a picture option, where do you want to upload your picture. (Usually in my case I don’t use picture (for now), so I choose the “no-don’t upload picture”), but you can have it other way around, if you want to upload some photos.
11. And then it will take you back to username and password window all you have to do is click ok.
12. And you will see a window asking about your “Post url”
13. All you have to do is type in your website (eg. http://network.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php )

Note: xmlrpc.php is generated by Microsoft word, don’t change this.

xampp on local host with wordpress

i had an experiment last night. Since i wasn't able to get yet a domain. i tried installing wordpress locally, but before that i have to install the apache server, php and mysql, in other words i installed winampp. after i installed winamp i have to configure the file of wordpress for me have the right path..anyways on complete details how to do this..i'll be posting it on my new blog site soon...

Yahoo messenger tip. Creating multiple Profile

I tried this on yahoo messenger version 8.1.0.421 using windows vista.

Open up your yahoo messenger.
Click on messenger->My Profiles-> it will take you Yahoo Member Directory.
Click on New Public Profile
Type your new user name or profile’s name
You have the option to show or not to show your e-mail address
Click on Create Profile and your done!!
Now try logging out your messenger and log in so that your account will be updated.

You might be asking what’s the purpose? Well, you can create multiple profile without having to sign up for yahoo account again.

i'm working on my article here to be posted in our upcoming website. most topic are related to call center. we have interview tips, here are some of those;

Look directly into the eyes. It’s good to have an eye to eye contact to your interviewer. It means that you are confident and know what you are exactly talking about.
Wear proper or at least descent attire. Be businesslike, approachable, and confident in your appearance. For newbie usually they go for long sleeves, polo, and black slacks. Of course you don’t what your interviewer to feel that you are going to a party somewhere right? Please make sure that your shoes are clean, leather shoes will do for guys. For girls, please don’t wear plunging blouses, you are not there to seduce or distract your interviewer.
